20th Dec: Raspberry + Rose Aperitif
If you prefer sweeter drinks, this works well with a raspberry syrup, but I prefer just the fresh berries for a drier taste but still plenty of fruit flavour and fragance. Perfect just before a feast.
RASPBERRY + ROSE APERITIF
50ml BEEFEATER 24 | 15ml LILLET BLANC | 5ml ROSE WATER | 6-8 FRESH RASPBERRIES
Fill a cocktail shaker with the raspberries, rose water, gin & lillet. Shake to get the most out of the raspberries. Double strain into a chilled glass (otherwise can be quite a messy pour). if you have a leftover raspberries use as garnish, otherwise a slice of lemon will do nicely.
