Orgeat is a full of fascinating flavours...

The word originates from the Latin “Hordeaceus”, which means to be made with Barley, but it has become a widely popular cocktail ingredient, most heavily developed by the French, who used almonds rather than the original barley-almond blend for the base - this generates for a much nuttier oil packed with sweetness and with floral fragrance coming from the rose water infusion. 

As well as in France, over the years there have been many variations of this syrup travelled and picked up on across the world with each country having its own unique spin and best way to sip! 

It is a very popular ingredient in Cyprus, Italy, Libya, Suriname & Tunisia. 

A key part to the now classic summer cocktail the  ‘Mai Tai’, here is our London variation, paying tribute to these flavours being so well travelled, explored and interpreted. 

Our TGC Orgeat adds orange peel, to provide balanced citrus notes and tie in the inclusion of the cointreau liqueur.

The Spirit Show: LDN 2016 w/Barr Hill Gin

Check out our latest listing on the Events page, where we are proudly collaborating with Caledonia Spirits, serving up their goods from the bike at this year's Spirit Show in London N1.

Their distillery, on the banks of the Lamoille River in the Northeast Kingdom, is rooted in the agriculture of Vermont, USA. The team behind Caledonia's bottles are rich in distilling history (inc. Mead & Whisky) a strong foundation for moving into cleaner spirits (they make a top notch vodka too).


But we like to concentrate on the gin!

Made with Juniper AND Raw Honey. The sweetness means it places itself slightly more on the side of an Old Tom than a London Dry.

Perfect as the primary fix in your next Martini, Martinez or Tom Collins.

In the coming days we'll be sharing our bespoke cocktail, designed especially for the coming together on December 9th.

Wedding in Windsor

Another look back here at a great summer afternoon service - at the unique setting of Eton College gardens.

We kept our menu nicely classic. With our 2 house G&T serves plus a Mojito with St Germain Elderflower Liqueur drizzled through to finish.

Summer Wedding in the Surrey Hills

It's been an action packed summer again with the TGC! 

A generous amount of sunshine has allowed us to pitch up outdoors at a variety of locations across the country in recent months.

Woodland Gin + Tonic

Around the launch of our original cinchona bark Tonic, we visited the West Country to speak with @JackABevan@MidgleyGreen for a taste testing at the Ethicurean Restaurant, Wrington.

Jack & Sheamus designed the perfect serve, with inspiration from the beauty of their Somerset Walled Garden and the surrounding lands, to combine with the mellow bitterness from our Tonic.

You can find one of London's top venues at an old converted furniture shop just off of Coldharbour Lane SW9.

Spread over two floors, Brixton East is the ideal party venue & for us, the TGC, it's perfect to bring our bikes for cocktails in summer by the opening front doors and/or much more options upstairs (there is a bar station we can operate, for wider menu choices into the night).

One of our favourite setups with the cocktail bikes is for London weddings and where better than the stunning Asylum Chapel in Peckham SE15.

We are proud partners with the south London venue and can provide a wide choice of post-ceremony cocktails & drinks to meet the wishes of your special day.

What Will We Be Drinking in 2016?

Speaking of our tasty tonic, it featured in The Independent's recent article 'What Will We Be Drinking 2016?'.  A look at the year ahead, selecting top choices for the more adventurous drinkers.

The amount of high quality mixers has grown dramatically in recent months to coincide with the new spirits boom. Our Danish produced Tonic with Ebeltoft Farm Brewery provides a completely different G&T experience with Jamaica Pepper, Lemongrass, plenty of citrus juice (lemon, lime AND orange), plus a hint of organic cane sugar, to allow for a much drier finish.



A nice shout out to our friends at The Ethicurean too, on their outstanding Somerset made Vermouth The Collector.


Our bicycle baskets will have plenty of new products available at upcoming events.

It's shaping up to be an exciting 2016.
